The club was formed on March 21 2022 for the purpose of providing an inviting, fun and inclusive environment for everyone to enjoy. We want to promote drawing and painting skills, as well as developing our members artistic styles. We aim to share knowledge, skills and techniques of art medium within the group.
Although there are set learning activities within the group, these are not obligatory and artists are free to undertake whatever project they wish. We hope to occasionally invite professional artists to come and give a talk or demonstration.
The club meets during school term times on Monday evenings from 7pm to 9pm at St John's Church Hall, Purbrook. New members need to register although there is no charge for this.
There is disabled access to the hall and the attendance fee is £4.00 per session, tea, coffee and biscuits are provided free of charge.
Committee members are Laura Callaghan, Lea Kerley, Ian Waterhouse - Joyce who are happy to answer any questions you may have, click on the button below to go to our contact page.
